Casey Crawford

Casey S. Crawford is the president of New American Mortgage, the Fastest Growing Mortgage Bank in the United States, as named by Inc. Magazine in 2012. Under his leadership and direction, New American has grown from four employees in 2008 to over 600 in 2012, earning the title “Fastest Growing Company in Charlotte, NC, while generating over 70 million dollars in revenue. Additionally, Crawford owns both Leap Insurance Agency and Integrated Title Services, a multi-state title agency, and serves as a director of New Dominion Bank.

Previous to starting New American, Crawford founded Greenbrier Mortgage Company and established a joint venture with National City Bank in 2004.



Professional Athlete

From 2002-2003, Crawford was a member of the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He stared his NFL career in Charlotte playing two years as a tight end for the Carolina Panthers (2000-2001).

Prior to his NFL career, Crawford was named to the 1998 All-ACC football team for his success on the field as the starting tight end for the University of Virginia Cavaliers. He excelled off the field as well, achieving All-ACC academic honors for his work in the classroom and earning a place on the National Good Works Team for his community service.


Crawford graduated from the University of Virginia in 1999. He married his wife Michelle in July of 2000, and the couple has two daughters, Cadie, age six, and Josie age 2. In his spare time, Crawford enjoys competing in the sport of Brazilian Jui Jitsu, hunting, and participating as an active member of Transformation Church.
